Hydrabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that belongs to the type of micropeeling and is often referred to as water microdermabrasion. It involves intensive exfoliation of dead skin cells using oxygen and a pressurised saline stream. Hydrodermabrasion is more pleasant for the patient than ordinary microdermabrasion, because there is no mechanical abrasion of the epidermis, so there is no irritation or redness. Even after the first treatment, the skin looks natural and healthy. This treatment is particularly recommended for people who wish to exfoliate the skin heavily. The exfoliation results in better oxygenation of the skin, making it moisturised.
