Using which method do we achieve this effect?
The FOTONA F22 fractional laser treatment uses a type of erbium-yag laser. The laser causes injuries in the form of micro columns at a much lower temperature, thanks to which the skin rebuilds and renews much faster than after a classic fractional laser. Thanks to the F22 scanner, we obtain a strong stimulation of repair processes in the skin, comparable to those obtained with the CO2 fractional laser, with the difference that the convalescence after the Fotona laser is two times shorter than after the CO2 laser.

There are different intensities of the Fotona fractional laser, thanks to which you can act on the epidermis or on the deeper layers of the skin, achieving an intensified effect. The appropriate program will be selected by the doctor during the pre-treatment consultation.
Types of Fotona fractional laser:
- Gentle exfoliation of the epidermis – The treatment causes a minimal ablation effect on the surface layer of the skin. Has a refreshing effect. It smoothes the skin, reduces fine lines, acne scars and tightens pores. After this treatment, the skin is slightly red.
- Medium exfoliation of the epidermis – A treatment with a stronger ablation element, which will ensure greater exfoliation and thus greater skin regeneration. This laser peeling will produce more expressive effects, but the recovery time will be slightly longer than with gentle exfoliation. Commonly known as “Las Vegas peeling” – loved by celebrities.
- Deep exfoliation of the epidermis – The treatment causes ablation at the level of the papillary layer of the dermis. This peeling can be repeated every 3-9 months to achieve the desired effect. It removes deep discoloration, deeper wrinkles, scars and furrows, as well as deep acne scars, removes unevenness on the face, e.g. acne, tightens sagging skin. Redness occurs after the treatment, which usually disappears after 3-5 days.

The treatment is comfortable thanks to the use of a modern cooling system, which minimizes the feeling of the treatment.
After the treatment, for about 2-3 hours, you may feel pain similar to the effects of a mild burn. You can easily take a painkiller but not an anti-inflammatory pill, e.g. apap, which will minimize these feelings. After the fractional laser treatment, the skin will be red and stretched. Occasionally swelling may occur. It is very important that you change to a fresh cover on your pillow and use new brushes or disinfected ones for make-up. Also replace with a fresh face towel.
Depending on the intensity of the laser power, facial erythema disappears from one day to five days. Then the skin color takes on a natural color. During this time, you can put on makeup and return to your daily activities.
