Eczema is a condition characterised by the occurrence of superficial skin lesions as a response to exposure to specific allergic stimuli. It generally manifests itself on the hands as itchy, swollen redness. It is very often accompanied by pruritus. Its severity and distribution may vary depending on the clinical form of eczema. Eczema is a chronic disease. There is no single treatment that can combat this disease in all individuals.
