Seborrhoea is the increased secretion of sebum by the sebaceous glands onto the surface of the skin, most pronounced in areas with abundant sebaceous glands. The skin is oily, shiny, with dilated sebaceous gland mouths filled with sebaceous-oily masses. The largest number of sebaceous glands is found on the hairy scalp and also on the face, so seborrhoea is most common in these areas on the body.

Seborrhoea of the scalp is often accompanied by dandruffand face - acne. In order to eliminate seborrhoea, the skin must be cared for properly. However, if skin care treatments do not work, a visit to a dermatologist or endocrinologist is necessary, who will additionally implement pharmacological treatment.
