A drooping eyelid, also known as ptosis, is a condition in which the upper eyelid droops below its normal position. This can be due to a variety of causes, such as congenital muscle defects, trauma or neurological conditions. In some cases, a surgical eyelid lift is necessary to restore normal eye function.
