- Impairment of the immune system
- Taking isotretinoin in the last 12 months
- Autoimmune skin diseases
- Radiotherapy and chemotherapy
- Poorly healing and non-healing wounds in the area of application
- Metal implants near the application area or neutral electrode
- Pacemaker, internal defibrillator or any other electrical implant anywhere on the body
- Current or past history of skin cancer or other cancer or precancerous lesions
- Active connective tissue disease
- Cardiovascular diseases (vascular diseases, peripheral arterial disease, thrombophlebitis and thrombosis)
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding or use of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure
- History of blood clotting disorders, use of anticoagulants
- Any active disease in the area of application such as ulcers, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, rosacea
- Any surgery in the area of application within the last three months or condition before complete healing
- Poorly controlled endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus
- Tuberculosis
- Hepatitis
- Diseases with fever
- Acute neuralgia or neuropathy
- Kidney or liver failure
- Sensors in the area of application
- Varicose veins, marked swelling
- Dermabrasion of the skin, resurfacing or deep chemical peeling in the area of application within 3 months prior to treatment
- Electroanalgesia without accurate diagnosis of pain aetiology
- Severe psychopathological disorders (e.g. schizophrenia)
- Neurological disorders (multiple sclerosis, epilepsy)
- Inflammation of blood and lymphatic vessels
