How does laser acne treatment work?

The laser works directly on the deep layers of the skin. Fotona Dynamis SP is characterised by a very advanced security system i highest power of the available lasers on the market.

Fotona Dynamis SP laser is based on the phenomenon of selective photothermolysis, i.e. the selective absorption of the laser energy by the skin at the site of the chromophores - the energy recipients. In the case of acne infections, the blood supply to the affected areas is increased, so stronger vascularisation absorbs the laser energy. Precisely matched power and the laser beam penetrates to the corresponding skin depth and heats up the tissues. This causes thermal and selective damage to the sebaceous glands, destroying acne-causing bacteria and reducing sebum production.
