- A fresh tan is contraindicated; wait approx. 4 weeks after sunbathing.
- The use of photosensitising herbs (e.g. St. John's wort, calendula) should be discontinued 2 weeks prior to treatment.

- 3 days before the procedure, do not take blood-thinning drugs or aspirin.

The treatment does not exclude you from daily activities. The skin may be sensitive to sunlight after the treatment. Use sunscreen with sun protection factor 50 for a fortnight after the treatment.
