Juvederm This is a group of preparations based on hyaluronic acid, used in aesthetic medicine to improve the appearance and proportions of the face. Depending on the type of product, they can be used to restore lost tissue volume, facial contour modelling and correction of selected wrinkles.

Hyaluronic acid It is a substance that occurs naturally in the body and has the ability to bind water. Products containing hyaluronic acid can be used, amongst other things, to improve skin hydration and restore volume in areas where it has been lost.

Juvederm can be used during facial modelling with hyaluronic acid. Depending on the indications, the preparation may be administered to various areas, including, amongst others,. cheeks, lips, chin or the jawline. The type of treatment, the amount used and the administration technique are selected by a specialist during the consultation, taking into account the anatomy of the face and the desired result.

The outcome of the procedure depends on the product used, the area being treated and the patient’s individual characteristics. Facial modelling with hyaluronic acid enables non-surgical correction of selected facial proportions and contours.

Following administration of the product, temporary reactions may occur at the treatment site, such as swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising. The severity and duration of these reactions vary from person to person. Before the procedure, the specialist will discuss the recommendations regarding preparation and aftercare.
