Photorejuvenation is a treatment that involves irradiating the facial skin with a low energy density light beam. It is a unique and at the same time very effective method of rejuvenating the skin of the face, neck, décolleté and the backs of the hands with laser. During its performance, fine wrinkles, freckles, facial erythema, post-sun discolouration, enlarged pores and vessels, as well as other photodamage to the skin are removed. A major advantage of photorejuvenation is that the procedure is less invasive than previously used methods. Therefore, the patient can return to their daily activities in no time. Lasers or an IPL device, i.e. Intense Pulsed Light, are used to perform the procedure. A beam of light acts on the skin. At the same time, rays of different lengths and in different directions are emitted.
