Lion's wrinkle - how to get rid of it?

The lion's wrinkle is the vertical furrow between the eyebrows. It adds years and makes the face of a person with a lion's wrinkle look menacing and grim. For this reason, the wrinkle is also called the furrow of anger. Women spend a lot of money on cosmetics that have it smoothIn addition to this, they also often look for natural methods. Are they effective?

How does a lion's wrinkle form?

Lion's wrinkle often appears as early as 30 years of age, especially in people with rich facial expressions, frequent frowning and squinting. At first it is visible as a fine line, which deepens over time. This is a result of skin ageing - weaker collagen and hyaluronic acid production, but also genes, a stressful lifestyle, smoking or sunlight.

Facial yoga and the lion's wrinkle

Facial yoga has become increasingly popular recently. By exercising the facial muscles, massaging the face with the hands, patting or kneading the skin, the skin relaxes and the muscles become stronger. A massage is recommended for the lion's wrinkle and should be performed at least several times a day. It involves placing the hand on the forehead so that the root is on the crease between the eyebrows and the fingers are on the head. Tilt the head back slightly. Work with the palm of your hand, pressing it against the skin as if you wanted to press it into the furrow and pulling it upwards towards your forehead. Make 10 such movements and, after a short break, repeat the whole series twice.

The second massage, recommended for those who want to make the lion's wrinkle shallower or make it no longer visible, is the figure-eight massage. It involves drawing figure eights with your fingers in the area between the eyebrows. However, before you start doing this - it's worth reaching for a light cream or oil so that you don't 'write' on dry skin. Instead of using figure eights, circles can be staggered with the finger - such a wrinkle massage smooths out the wrinkle relaxes the skin and tightens muscles.

Does facial yoga improve the appearance of skin in the short term?

Massages require regularity and patience - you need to do them over a long period of time to see any, even minimal, effect. For those who want to improve their appearance "right now", it is rather recommended to a visit to an aesthetic medicine clinic. Here, a single treatment with, for example, a wrinkle filler, in this case the lion's furrow, is sufficient - the effect lasts up to two years. The skin is smooth and firm, making the face appear more cheerful and younger. Treatments recommended for the lion's wrinkle include 4d endolifting, facial volumetrics or anti-aging mesotherapy. Both laser endoliftinguas well as skin filling with hyaluronic acid, the face immediately becomes smoother and visually younger. This is a much quicker method than the aforementioned facial yoga.
