A saddle nose is associated with a collapsed nasal dorsum, usually in the middle part of the nose. This defect is due to a defect in the nasal bone. Saddle nose correction involves the replacement of the collapsed nasal dorsum. The defect can be filled with a silicone implant or protoplast or by transplanting a fragment of your own bone. Most commonly the hip bone - this requires an additional bone graft extraction procedure.
