Laser nose correction It is a minimally invasive ENT procedure that uses laser energy to improve nasal patency and to make breathing easier. It usually involves reducing the enlarged nasal conchae, which may restrict airflow through the nasal cavity.
The treatment is performed in under local anaesthetic and involves the precise application of a laser to the tissues of the turbinates, which reduces their volume and increases the space within the nasal passages.
The indication for the procedure is chronic blocked nose, difficulty breathing and a feeling of nasal congestion associated with enlarged turbinates. Patients are assessed on the basis of an ENT examination.
The result of laser rhinoplasty This results in improved breathing comfort and a freer flow of air through the nose. Recovery is usually brief, and any discomfort, such as swelling or dryness of the mucous membrane, is temporary.
