Mixed cellulite, also known as water-fat cellulite, is a form of cellulite that combines the characteristics of several types of lesions, most commonly water-based and fat-based cellulite. In some cases, elements of fibrous cellulite may also be present.
These changes result from the co-occurrence of disorders within the subcutaneous tissue, such as excess adipose tissue, fluid retention and disorders microcirculation. Symptoms may include uneven skin texture, swelling, thickening and a loss of elasticity.
Mixed cellulite It most commonly affects the thighs, buttocks, hips and abdomen. Its development is influenced by factors such as genetic predisposition, lifestyle, diet and level of physical activity.
