Krzysztof Reinhard, founder and CEO of Wellclinic, accepted the formal invitation to represent the medical clinics in the meeting Committee on Economy and Development dedicated to the regulation of the cosmetology profession and the aesthetic services market. As a representative of Wellclinic, one of the largest employers of cosmetologists and doctors of aesthetic medicine in Poland, he drew attention to the need to ensure the highest quality of care for patients and the key importance of cooperation between cosmetologists and doctors in providing comprehensive therapy.
Wellclinic's voice in an important discussion
On 28 May, a meeting was held in the Sejm Committee on Economy and Development regarding the profession of cosmetology and the principles of the aesthetic services market. The meeting was attended by representatives of public administration, professional organisations, academia and entrepreneurs associated with the health sector.
The meeting presented experiences from the daily work with thousands of patients using the services of the Wellclinic. The perspective of a network of medical clinics operating at the intersection of medicine and cosmetology brought to the discussion a practical perspective on the challenges the industry currently faces.
Shared care for the patient - the highest value
During the discussion, it was emphasised that the dynamic development of the aesthetic market requires effective cooperation between doctors and cosmetologists. The growing number of people seeking professional support in the areas of health, appearance and prevention means that the competences of the two groups of specialists complement each other.
From the perspective of Wellclinic It is crucial to ensure patient safety, high standards of care and access to qualified specialists. A comprehensive approach to the patient today requires the collaboration of many experts who work together to address the patient's needs and expectations.
The key role of cosmetologists in modern therapies
With the development of modern therapies, the importance of cosmetologists in the patient care process is increasing. These professionals support patients in achieving their goals for a healthy appearance, skin condition and improved figure and well-being.
The growing interest in cosmetology services makes it increasingly important to have a high standard of education and to continuously improve professional qualifications. It is the knowledge, experience and responsibility of professionals that underpins safe and effective patient care.
The law has not kept up with technology
Participants at the meeting also discussed the directions of the przyszł legislative changes concerning the cosmetology profession. The aim of the proposed solutions is to build a high level of safety for patients by structuring the industry and defining the competences of the various professional groups. Equally important remain the required competencies for advanced therapies such as Quantum Face or Body Genetic.
The discussion also touched on the challenges posed by the rapid growth of the aesthetics industry and the need to develop solutions to meet the needs of both patients and professionals in the profession.
Wellclinic actively participates in the development of the industry
We feel honoured to be able to return the favour to thousands of cosmetologists and doctors by taking an active part in creating the industry from the legal ground up. Participation in Committee on Economy and Development we see as part of the commitment Wellclinic in working to extend the highest standards of care and quality of medical and aesthetic services to the entire industry. As an organisation that works with thousands of patients every day, we would like to emphasise that we have the necessary resources to actively participate in building market adherence and solutions that impact patient safety and comfort.
Wellclinic declares its readiness to participate in further work and support solutions that will serve both patients and the development of modern, responsible cosmetology and medicine.
