EMFACE® It is one of the most advanced technologies currently used in non-invasive facial rejuvenation. The treatment has been designed to simultaneously target facial skin and the muscle structures responsible for maintaining face shape and its tone. In practice, this means the potential to improve skin quality and reduce wrinkles and to achieve the desired effect face lift without the use of needles or a scalpel, and with no recovery period.
In clinical practice EMFACE® is regarded as a method that supports the body’s natural regenerative processes skins and subcutaneous tissues, rather than as a mechanical intervention in their structure.
Facial ageing as a multi-layered process
The process facial ageing is not limited solely to the skin. In clinical practice, it has been observed that changes occurring in facial muscles and in the facial support structures.
As we get older, there is a gradual decline in the amount of collagen and elastin, which leads to a loss of skin elasticity. At the same time, the facial muscles weaken and lose their tone, leading to a gradual sagging of the tissues. As a result, the following appear: wrinkles, reduction face shape, loss of firmness in the cheeks and changes to the jawline.
EMFACE® It was designed specifically to address both of these areas simultaneously.

How EMFACE works
Technology EMFACE® combines two complementary methods of acting on tissues: synchronised radiofrequency and HIFES®. Their combined action enables multi-level treatment of the face.
Synchronised radiofrequency is responsible for controlled heating facial skin to a temperature of around 40–42°C. Within this temperature range, stimulation occurs fibroblasts, i.e. the cells responsible for the production of collagen i elastins. As a result, skin-renewal processes are triggered, leading to smoother skin and an improved skin texture.
At the same time, technology HIFES® operates on facial expression muscles, triggering their intense, selective activation. This type of stimulation helps to improve muscle tone, which in turn provides better support for the facial tissues and a natural-looking effect face lift.
Combining the two technologies makes it possible to work simultaneously on skin, fascia, connective tissue and facial muscles, which sets EMFACE® apart from other non-invasive methods.
The EMFACE treatment procedure
Treatment EMFACE® It is a non-invasive procedure and does not require any preparation in the form of anaesthesia. The skin is cleansed before the treatment begins, and, if necessary, make-up and jewellery are removed from the treatment area.
During the session, the device’s applicators are placed on the face at precisely defined points. The treatment lasts around 20 minutes on average and feels like a combination of gentle warmth and rhythmic contractions facial muscles.
During the procedure, the patient remains completely comfortable, and the device’s safety system allows the treatment to be stopped immediately should any discomfort arise.
The effects of EMFACE therapy
Effects of the treatment EMFACE® are gradual in nature and result from tissue remodelling processes. The first changes can be observed immediately after the procedure, when facial skin she feels more rested and tense.
In the weeks that follow, processes of neocollagenesis and remodelling take place fibres elastin. Over a period of approximately two to three months, a gradual improvement in skin texture is observed, along with a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and to improve its density.
At the same time, there is a strengthening of facial muscles, which helps to lift the tissues and improve face shape. In clinical practice, this results in a more harmonious, naturally rejuvenated appearance without looking unnatural.

Safety and comfort during the procedure
EMFACE® It is a non-invasive procedure and does not require a recovery period. After the treatment, the patient can resume their daily activities without any restrictions.
The treatment is usually well tolerated. Sensations are limited to warmth and gentle contractions facial muscles. The device is fitted with a safety control system that allows the procedure to be stopped immediately in the event of any discomfort.
In clinical practice, it is also important that the treatment does not disrupt continuity skins, which minimises the risk of complications typically associated with invasive methods.
Preparation for the procedure and recommendations
Before starting EMFACE® It is important to take the condition into account facial skin and the patient’s treatment history. It is recommended to avoid intensive skin-exfoliating procedures, such as deep chemical peels, dermabrasion or resurfacing, for approximately three months prior to the planned treatment.
When using isotretinoin, it is essential to wait at least 12 months after the end of treatment.
Immediately before the treatment, you should remove any make-up and jewellery from your face. Your skin should be free from irritation, inflammation and any damage to the epidermis.
Contraindications for EMFACE
Despite its high safety profile, there are clinical situations in which the procedure should not be carried out. This applies primarily to active inflammatory conditions facial skin, bacterial and viral infections, as well as autoimmune diseases in their active phase.
Other contraindications include implanted electronic devices, such as a pacemaker or defibrillator, as well as the presence of metal implants within the device’s operational range.
The procedure is not carried out on pregnant or breastfeeding women, nor on patients undergoing cancer treatment. Caution is also required in cases of coagulation disorders, vascular diseases, uncontrolled diabetes and active skin conditions, such as psoriasis or eczema.
The long-term effects of EMFACE
The process of tissue regeneration following EMFACE® does not end when the session is over. In the weeks and months that follow, the fibres undergo a gradual reorganisation collagen and improving quality facial muscles.
The best results are seen after a course of treatments, which helps to achieve more stable and long-lasting effects. During this time, the face gradually regains its firmness and its contours become more defined.
Natural facial rejuvenation without surgery
EMFACE® It is in line with a trend in aesthetic medicine that focuses on making the most of the body’s natural regenerative mechanisms. Rather than mechanically interfering with the tissues, the technology supports their physiological regeneration.
This makes it possible to achieve a rejuvenating effect which does not alter the facial features, but restores a more rested and harmonious appearance.
