Nd:YAG laser (neodymium-YAG) is a medical laser that utilises a light beam with a wavelength of 1064 nm. Thanks to its ability to precisely target deeper tissue layers, it is used in various aesthetic medicine treatments, including therapies aimed at vascular lesions. The laser energy can be absorbed by haemoglobin, which allows for selective targeting of blood vessels.
Nd:YAG laser it is also used in the procedure Tight Sculpting, carried out at Wellclinic using the system Fotona Dynamis SP PRO. The procedure combines the effects of two wavelengths — Nd:YAG and Er:YAG — which affect different tissue structures and depths.
In the case of Tight Sculpting laser energy Nd:YAG penetrates into the deeper layers of tissue, where it supports processes associated with fat reduction and skin remodelling. The laser, on the other hand, Er:YAG It acts on the more superficial layers, helping to improve skin firmness and quality. The combination of both wavelengths allows for simultaneous treatment of both adipose tissue and the skin, without the need for surgery.
