Tissue biostimulator This is a treatment used to stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative processes. Depending on the type, it may contain, amongst other things, polynucleotides (PDRN), which support tissue regeneration and improve the skin’s hydration and condition. The treatment is suitable for both women and men.
Tissue biostimulators support production-related processes collagen i elastins, thereby helping to improve the skin’s firmness, elasticity and texture. They are primarily used to address signs of ageing, loss of firmness, fine lines and a deterioration in skin quality. They can form part of a treatment programme aimed at facial rejuvenation.
The treatment is usually administered by injection. The procedure typically takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on the area and the technique used. Temporary reactions may occur at the injection sites following the procedure. The effects of biostimulation develop gradually, and their extent and duration depend, amongst other things, on the type of preparation and the individual characteristics of the skin. Selection tissue biostimulator, the treatment area and the number of sessions should be determined following a consultation and an assessment of the skin’s condition.
