Oily skin

Oily skin has visible pores and blackheads and a tendency to shine (especially in the T-zone). It ages more slowly compared to other skin types, but this does not mean that it is easy to care for. Oily skin can be genetically predisposed or can result, for example, from hormonal disorders.

Oily skin is characterised by an overproduction of sebum in the facial skin area. Sebum is skin sebum, which can clog pores and, consequently - the pimples. It can be recognised by excessive facial stickiness and shine during the day. Contrary to what you may think, oily skin should not be forcefully over-dried - a lack of adequate hydration can exacerbate the fatty effects. It often has an earthy, greyish-yellow tone and is accompanied by acne.

Care for oily skin should include reducing excessive sebum (sebum) production, careful cleansing and moisturising. Seborrhoeic skin does not like cosmetics based on oils or containing alcohol. With this type of skin, it is advisable to regularly exfoliate the epidermis. Individually selected, professional chemical peels or the much milder cavitation peeling are reasonable options.

As patients with oily skin are not infrequently struggling with acne at the same time, improvement in its condition can be brought about by laser therapy carried out by an aesthetic physician or a cosmetologist. Laser treatment of acne is a safe method, which is preceded by a detailed health history of the patient and the exclusion of potential contraindications.
