Platelet-rich plasma is a concentrate of the patient's own platelets in a small amount of plasma. The preparation is made by centrifugation of the patient's blood taken immediately before the procedure. The concentrate contains growth factors produced by platelets, which lead to renewal and visible skin rejuvenation.
