TEC Thermo-electric cooling technology
TEC (Thermo-Electric Cooling) technology This is an advanced cylinder head cooling system used during laser depilation. It utilises the thermoelectric effect, which allows the surface of the head to be cooled to as low as -8°C. Cooling the skin helps to reduce the sensation of heat whilst the laser energy is being emitted, thereby increasing the comfort of the treatment.
The TEC system It also helps to protect the skin’s surface from excessive overheating, which is particularly important when carrying out treatments on more sensitive areas, such as the bikini line, underarms or face. Cooling is applied directly at the site of the head’s operation, meaning it can continue throughout the entire procedure.
