Dermatophytosis is otherwise known as dermatophytosis. It is possible to distinguish between fungal infections of the scalp, feet, groin, hands, nails, chin or simply fungal infections of the smooth skin of the entire body.
Dermatomycosis manifests as round erythematous lesions that stand out clearly from their surroundings. The edges of the resulting lesions are strongly red, scaly and dotted with numerous papules and pustules, while the centres look like healing skin.
