Mycosis fungoides is an infectious skin disease caused by pathogenic fungi called dermatophytes or yeasts. The development of ringworm is favoured by warm, humid climates. It is easy to contract, especially during warm weather. One person with ringworm can infect a whole family.

Ringworm manifests itself with itching and burning, but we usually blame this on excessively dry skin. There are several types of mycosis. First of all, mycosis can therefore be divided into dermatophytosis and deep mycosis, otherwise known as organ mycosis.
