Exfoliation of the superficial layer of the epidermis can also facilitate the penetration of active ingredients used in subsequent stages of skincare.

Depending on the skin’s needs, microdermabrasion can be carried out as a stand-alone treatment or form part of a wider course of treatment. It can be combined with selected procedures that utilise laser technologies or radio waves, provided that the condition of the skin allows it and there are no contraindications to carrying out another treatment.
