Blackheads, most commonly found on or around the nose, are the result of clogged hair follicles. They form in dilated pores and are mainly visible by their colour (black).
The cause of blackheads on the nose is usually an overproduction of sebum deposited on the face. Blackheads can be removed by chemical peels and treatments dedicated to acne-prone skin.
