Chemical peelings are among some of the most popular types of aesthetic medicine treatments. Why? Well, the action of a chemical peel is simple and consists only of 1TP4Soaking. It is recommended primarily as a method of treating acne, reducing hyperpigmentation, scars and the first signs of skin ageing. Wellclinic clients appreciate the use of chemical peels mainly because frog peels are not invasive and can be repeated frequently. On the other hand, the results of zł peeling are clear and resolve skin imperfections immediately after treatment.
What is the difference between a chemical peel and a mechanical peel?
Chemical peels have a different action to mechanical peeling. Mechanical peeling involves rubbing the epidermis with abrasive particles. In contrast, chemical peeling uses acids that react with the skin. 1TP4Chemical peeling exfoliates and stimulates the epidermis to accelerate regeneration. It not only cleanses the skin, but also has an anti-ageing and revitalising effect. Unlike mechanical peeling, chemical peeling uses active ingredients and works in multiple layers.
Types of chemical peels at Wellclinic
The Wellclinic medical office offers four types of peels, which we use during treatments. The peeling and concentration of acids are selected according to the patient's skin susceptibility and the effects they wish to achieve.
The first chemical peel we use at Wellclinic is PRX. PRX peeling improves skin density, reduces scars and discolouration. It is applied to the skin in layers as a gel and is based on TCA acid, soy acid and hydrogen peroxide. After a chemical peel treatment, the skin does not peel, which can be important for people who have to leave the house on a daily basis.
The second type of chemical peel is TCA. The preparation is based on trichloroacetic acid, an active organic substance. TCA chemical peeling is particularly effective in eliminating acne scars or those resulting from mechanical damage to the skin. After TCA treatment, the skin is visibly firmer and wrinkles are reduced.
The third chemical peel is REDSTOP . This formula is specially formulated for sensitive, vascular skin and those showing symptoms of rosacea. It allows the skin to be cleansed while moisturising and having an anti-inflammatory effect. It soothes, neutralising redness.
The latest chemical peel from Wellclinic is COSMELAN. The composition contains a high content of arbutin, retinol, kojic acid, ascorbic acid and phytic acid. The combination results in high efficacy against discolouration of sun or hormonal origin.
Course of treatment
Before each treatment at Wellclinic, we conduct a thorough interview with the client to rule out any contraindications. For chemical peels, we carefully look at the skin and select the right combination of ingredients that works best to smooth the skin in question. We then apply the product to the skin.
