Their effects may be aimed at improving microcirculation, supporting metabolic processes in the tissue, and increasing skin firmness and elasticity. One of the technologies used is radiofrequency.
One of the approaches used in cellulite treatments is a combination of sound wave and monopolar radiofrequency. Acoustic waves can promote microcirculation and processes occurring in the subcutaneous tissue, whilst radiofrequency delivers energy to deeper layers of tissue, promoting collagen remodelling and improving skin firmness.
