Not just a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) – discover a non-invasive Brazilian butt lift that’s pain-free and requires no scalpel

BBL

Fuller, rounder buttocks without surgery? For many people, the idea of a Brazilian butt lift is primarily associated with a BBL, which is a surgical procedure using the patient’s own fat. It is an effective way of altering the proportions of the figure, but it requires surgery and involves a recovery period.

However, not everyone wants to undergo surgery to improve the appearance of their buttocks. That is why, alongside the classic BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) Non-surgical methods for contouring this area are also becoming available. These utilise different mechanisms of action and may be considered by people whose primary aim is to improve the shape, firmness or appearance of their buttocks without undergoing surgery.

One such possibility is Body Sculpt. The treatment utilises stimulation of the gluteal muscles, which is why it works differently from BBL, where the patient’s own fat is harvested from one part of the body and used to contour another.

Choosing the right method therefore depends on the result you want to achieve. Is the aim to increase the volume of the buttocks, change their shape, or, above all, to firm them up and improve their tone? The answer to this question helps to determine which solution will be better suited to the desired outcome.

BBL – what is the Brazilian butt lift?

BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) This is a surgical procedure in which the buttocks are contoured using the patient’s own fat tissue. The procedure is based on lipotransfer, which involves removing fat from one part of the body and transplanting it to another area.

Adipose tissue can be harvested from areas such as the abdomen, hips or thighs. Liposuction is performed for this purpose. The harvested tissue is then suitably prepared and injected into the buttocks.

Combining these two stages in this way allows you to alter the proportions of your figure. On the one hand, it reduces the amount of body fat in areas where it is excessive; on the other, it increases the volume and changes the shape of the buttocks.

BBL However, it is a surgical procedure. It requires specialist qualifications, proper preparation and a recovery period. It cannot be regarded as the equivalent of non-surgical body-contouring treatments.

The effects of BBL and buttock contouring

The main objective Brazilian butt lift The aim is to increase their volume and alter their contour. When carried out correctly, lipotransfer can also improve the proportions between the buttocks, waist and thighs.

The result is not assessed immediately after the procedure. Swelling occurs initially, and some of the transplanted fat may be reabsorbed over time. It takes longer for the tissues to stabilise, which is why the final result is only assessed once the healing period is over.

At the appearance of the buttocks after a BBL Factors influencing this include, amongst others, individual predisposition, the quantity and quality of the adipose tissue harvested, the technique used, and adherence to post-operative instructions.

Eligibility for BBL and contraindications

Not everyone is eligible for BBL. One of the key requirements is having a sufficient amount of adipose tissue that can be harvested and used during the procedure. If a patient is very slim, there may not be enough to carry out the planned body contouring.

During the consultation, the doctor also assesses the patient’s general state of health, any medication they are taking, and factors that may increase the risk of complications. These include, amongst others, coagulation disorders, active infections, certain chronic conditions, problems with wound healing, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The final decision on whether the procedure can be carried out rests with the doctor. BBL involves surgical intervention; therefore, the assessment of suitability should take into account both the expected outcome and the patient’s safety.

BBL versus buttock implants

Buttock augmentation It can also be carried out using implants. Gluteal implants However, BBL and other procedures differ in the way they increase volume. In the case of BBL The patient’s own fat tissue is used. Implants, on the other hand, are materials surgically inserted into the buttocks.

These are two different procedures, so the choice of method requires an individual assessment of body type, the amount of available fat tissue, the expected outcome and any contraindications.

Non-surgical buttock contouring

Surgery is not the only option for improving the appearance of the buttocks. If there is less need to alter the volume, the focus can be on improving muscle tone and the appearance of the tissue.

Strength training is, of course, important. Exercises that target the gluteal muscles, such as squats, lunges and hip thrusts, can, when performed regularly, improve their strength and appearance. However, the results depend on your training plan, diet, body type and how your body responds.

The second option involves treatments that use muscle stimulation. At Wellclinic, the following is used Body Sculpt, using HI-EMT technology. The treatment can be carried out on the buttocks, stomach and thighs.

Body Sculpt for the buttocks – how it works and the treatment process

Body Sculpt It uses electromagnetic pulses to induce intense muscle contractions. The applicators are placed on the selected area, and the treatment parameters are tailored to the specific area and the aim of the therapy.

During the procedure, the patient lies on a treatment bed. There are no incisions and no anaesthesia is required. The patient mainly experiences intense muscle tension and spasms.

A single session lasts about 30 minutes. In Wellclinic’s materials, the recommended range usually includes 4–8 treatments, and the frequency of subsequent visits is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Body Sculpt can be carried out on the buttocks, stomach and thighs, which is why the treatment can be used not only to work on the lower body, but also on the abdominal muscles.

Brazilian buttocks lift

Body Sculpt and the Brazilian butt lift

Body Sculpt is not a non-surgical alternative to BBL in the context of fat grafting. The two procedures work in different ways.

During BBL, the doctor extracts fat tissue and uses it to increase the volume of the buttocks. Body Sculpt does not require liposuction or fat transfer. The treatment focuses on intensive muscle stimulation.

Body Sculpt may therefore be an interesting option for anyone who wants to improve the appearance and firmness of their buttocks but does not wish to undergo surgery. However, you should not expect the same results as those achieved through surgical buttock augmentation.

The effects of Body Sculpt on the buttocks and tummy

The results of the treatment depend, amongst other things, on the initial condition of the muscles, the number of sessions and the individual’s response. The aim of working on the glutes is, first and foremost, to strengthen them and improve muscle tone.

In the case of the abdomen, the treatment can be used to stimulate the muscles in that area. However, this does not mean that Body Sculpt is a substitute for diet, exercise or treatment for excess weight.

If there is also an issue with uneven skin texture, treatments designed to address this can be discussed during the consultation cellulite on the buttocks or others cellulite treatments.

BBL or non-surgical buttock contouring?

The choice of method depends primarily on the desired outcome. BBL It is a surgical procedure that allows for a significant change in the volume and shape of the buttocks through the transplantation of the patient’s own fat tissue.

Treatments such as Body Sculpt serve a different purpose. They do not increase the volume of the buttocks through fat transfer, but instead target the muscles. They may therefore be considered by people whose main aim is to strengthen their muscles and improve muscle tone without surgery.

There is no single method that suits everyone. When making a choice, factors such as body type, body fat percentage, the condition of the skin and muscles, and expectations regarding the results are taken into account.

Non-surgical buttock contouring

Non-surgical buttock contouring may be an option for people who wish to improve the appearance of their buttocks without autologous fat transfer or surgery. Methods such as Body Sculpt They work primarily by stimulating the muscles, which is why their capabilities and the results achieved differ from those of a traditional BBL.

If you’re not sure which method is best suited to your aim, whilst consultation You can discuss the available options and assess whether a non-surgical treatment meets your expectations. Body contouring treatments are carried out at Wellclinic in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Cracow.
